Position Description

Reporting to the Demand & Supply Planning Manager, the Demand & Supply Planner will be responsible for maintaining forecasts to be used for planning production and purchase of goods from global manufacturing sites, as well as provide a forward view of sales revenue through the S&OP process.

As a key member of the team, you will have strong stakeholder management and work cross-functionally to provide accurate forecasts of inventory for promotional and marketing activities and SKU volumes. Close contact with overseas suppliers and factories is essential.

Duties and Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain 18 month forecast for gross sales and volume, through inputs gathered in S&OP process and trend analysis
  • Ensure product is available on time and in full by liaising with global suppliers and factories
  • Lead demand planning meeting for assigned categories
  • Coordinate and develop systems to support the planning function
  • Support NPD/EPD projects within product portfolio
  • Act as an agent for continuous process improvement and ensure adherence to supply policies and procedures
  • Work on projects to continually improve supply chain efficiencies through the global network

Skills and Experience:

  • 5 years of experience in demand & supply planning, with an emphasis on forecasting, inventory management and S&OP
  • Tertiary qualification in supply chain management or related field
  • Excellent analytical and mathematical skills and a logical mindset for problem solving
  • Strong communication and collaborative skills
  • Openness to embrace innovation, automation and diversity
  • Advanced level Excel skills with proficiency in Pivot Tables and VLookup
  • Advanced knowledge of Power BI
  • Experience working in SAP is preferred
