Garment Tech

Our client is an established wholesale and fashion retailer, with leading apparel clients, working across categories from denim, dress, woven through to corporate wear.
Working within a small team, you will prepare tech packs to assisting in fit sessions. You will be detailed orientated with strong technical knowledge across both womenswear and menswear.
Key responsibilities:
- Technical packs: Create technical packs that include CAD illustrations, garment construction details, spec measurements, grading, labels, packaging, and any additional images
- Compiling technical drawings using Adobe Suite
- Fit sessions: Drive effective and timely fit sessions by providing expert guidance on fit adjustments to achieve the best commercial outcome
- Quality control: Measuring all samples submissions to ensure they meet specifications and perform quality control on construction, fabrication, and trims of all sample submission
- Communication: Communicate fit comments with production teams and update spec sheets
- Define, maintain, and uphold all product specifications
- Collaboration: Adapt to evolving business needs by implementing new processes and supporting cross-functional teams where needed
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- 5 years of experience as a Garment Tech, with strong technical knowledge
- A can-do and team orientated approach
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite & Adobe Illustrator
The role is either full-time if someone can CAD or if they are given a CAD and can build a tech pack from there. Otherwise, this role is a part-time opportunity, approx 3 days.
