We are seeking a Store Manager to join our client who is an Australian fashion brand known for its heritage and quality. This role plays a crucial role in overseeing all aspects of the store operations, driving sales and ensuring an unparalleled customer experience.

As the Store Manager, you will inspire and lead a team of dedicated Sales Associates to uphold their heritage and values, reporting directly to the Head of Retail, with genuine career progression and the potential to work across multiple sites. 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead, coach, and develop a motivated sales team to achieve store targets
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment
  • Manage staff recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance management
  • Ensure every customer receives an exceptional level of service
  • Resolve customer inquiries and issues promptly and professionally
  • Maintain a high standard of presentation across the store
  • Drive the store’s financial performance by achieving sales targets and optimising profitability
  • Monitor and analyse sales performance, providing regular reports to the Head of Retail
  • Implement initiatives to increase customer foot traffic and conversion rates
  • Oversee daily store operations, including inventory management, cash handling, and loss prevention
  • Ensure the store’s visual presentation is in line with brand standards
  • Coordinate promotional events and marketing activities within the store
  • Create and maintain community relationships to boost store presence and loyalty and act as an ambassador for the brand

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Minimum of 5 years of retail management experience, preferably in a high-end or heritage brand environment
  • Strong Leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Intermediate computer skills and proficiency with POS systems
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Proven ability to work as part of a team
  • Enthusiastic about sharing and promoting the products and heritage
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Highly motivated with a strong work ethic
