Marketing Coordinator

Our client is an iconic Australian sporting goods brand with a global presence. They are passionate about providing high-quality products as well as educating their consumers about health and safety protocols as it relates to sport and activity.
  
The Role:

You will be working closely with key stakeholders within the business, you will be responsible for the overall coordination of trade marketing material and supporting the sales teams in Australia and New Zealand along with supporting the digital strategy of the business.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Trade marketing: direct all in-store marketing, manage retail fit-outs from production to installation.
  • Marketing material production – creative conception of signage, wallscapes, posters and all other promotional material in-store. 
  • Graphic design – create marketing assets from POS to online imagery and/or briefing Graphic Designer for artwork to support local campaigns. 
  • Maintain Image library – creating folders for campaigns and new seasonal product ranges to support stockists and the sales team.
  • Stakeholder relationship management ­– build and maintain strong relationships internally and externally.
  • Key retailer support – provide specialised support to key retailers and retail groups.
  • Events management – organise 2 conferences annually including budget, location, coordination on day, vendor relationship management, create decks, produce marketing materials, manage samples. 
  • Proposal creation – apply for council tenders, develop proposals, maintain stockists contract register.
  • Email marketing – manage B2B email channel, create useful assets to share via email channel, plan and execute.
  • Sponsorships and partnerships – maintain partnership/sponsorship relations, identify new partnership opportunities. 
  • Marketing calendar – localise international marketing calendar to the Australian market, coordinate campaigns working with Sales Representatives, web and social media. 
  • Sales team support – support the sales team with training documents, organise samples and proactively provide all B2B marketing support.
  • Additional marketing tasks – assist with writing product descriptions, price list creation, press release writing, checking catalogues, assist with planning photoshoots, manage Sales Rep sample request.
  • Admin tasks – invoice approval, source brand uniform and merchandise, following approval processes.  

To be successful in this role, you will have: 

  • 2 years of proven experience in a Marketing role, preferably within a B2C business within apparel, sporting goods or wholesale
  • Tertiary qualification/degree in Marketing or related field
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite/Canva and Microsoft Office
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
